Server Data
For technical reasons, in particular to ensure a secure and stable website, data is transmitted to us or our web hosting provider by your internet browser. These so- called server log files collect data such as the type and version of your internet browser, the operating system, the website from which you accessed our website (referrer URL), the pages of our website that you visit, the date and time of the respective access, and the IP address of the internet connection from which the use of our website occurs.

The data will be deleted no later than after seven days, unless further retention is required for legal purposes. In any other case, the data will be exempted from deletion in whole or in part until the final clarification of an incident.
Cookies
a) Session Cookies
We use so-called cookies on our website. Cookies are small text files or other storage technologies that are stored on your device by the internet browser you use. These cookies process certain information about you, such as your browser or location data, or your IP address, to a specific extent.
This processing makes our website more user-friendly, efficient, and secure, as it allows, for example, the display of our website in different languages or the offering of a shopping cart function.
The legal basis for this processing is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, provided that these cookies process data for the initiation or performance of a contract.
If the processing is not related to the initiation or performance of a contract, our legitimate interest lies in improving the functionality of our website. The legal basis for this is then Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
These session cookies are deleted when you close your internet browser.
b) Third-Party Cookies
In some cases, cookies from partner companies with whom we cooperate for purposes such as advertising, analytics, or functionality of our website may also be used.
For more details, especially regarding the purposes and legal grounds for the processing of such third-party cookies, please refer to the information provided below.
c) Possibility to Remove Cookies
You can prevent or restrict the installation of cookies by adjusting the settings of your internet browser. You can also delete cookies that have already been stored at any time. However, the necessary steps and measures depend on the specific browser you are using. For assistance, please use the help function or documentation of your internet browser or contact the browser’s manufacturer or support.
For so-called Flash cookies, however, processing cannot be prevented through the browser settings. Instead, you will need to adjust the settings of your Flash player. The steps and measures required for this depend on the specific Flash player you are using. For questions, please use the help function or documentation of your Flash player, or contact the manufacturer or user support.
Please note that preventing or restricting the installation of cookies may result in some features of our website not being fully accessible.
Contract Processing
The data you provide to us for the use of our goods and/or services will be processed by us for the purpose of contract execution and is required for this purpose. Contract conclusion and execution are not possible without providing your data.
The legal basis for processing is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
We delete the data once the contract has been fully executed, but we must observe the retention periods required by tax and commercial law.
As part of contract execution, we will pass on your data to the transport company responsible for delivering the goods or to the financial service provider, insofar as the transfer is necessary for goods delivery or payment purposes.
The legal basis for the transfer of data is then Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Customer Account / Registration Function
If you create a customer account on our website, we will collect and store the data you provide during registration (e.g., your name, address, or email address) solely for pre-contractual services, contract fulfilment, or for customer care purposes (e.g., to
provide you with an overview of your previous orders or to offer the so-called wish list function). At the same time, we will store your IP address and the date and time of your registration.
These data will not be shared with third parties.
During the registration process, your consent for this processing will be obtained, and you will be referred to this privacy policy. The data collected by us will only be used to provide the customer account.
If you consent to this processing, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR is the legal basis for the processing.
If the creation of the customer account also serves pre-contractual measures or contract fulfilment, then the legal basis for this processing is also Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
You may withdraw your consent for the creation and maintenance of the customer account at any time, with effect for the future, in accordance with Article 7(3) GDPR. To do so, simply inform us of your withdrawal.
The data collected in this context will be deleted as soon as the processing is no longer necessary. However, we must observe the tax and commercial retention periods.
Credit Check and Scoring
Insofar as we offer you the option to pay by invoice as part of our goods or services offering and you make use of this option, we reserve the right to obtain a credit report from a credit agency (such as Credit reform, Schufa, Bürgel, or Infoscore) based on mathematical-statistical methods. For this purpose, your data, insofar as they are relevant for the contract, such as your name and address, will be forwarded to the credit agency. The subsequent information about the statistical likelihood of payment default will be used for our decision on whether to offer you the option to pay by invoice.
The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in ensuring the payment security of the claim, in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Newsletter
If you sign up for our free newsletter, the data requested from you, such as your email address and, optionally, your name and address, will be transmitted to us. During the further registration process, we will obtain your consent to send the newsletter, describe the content specifically, and refer to this privacy policy. The data collected in this process will be used exclusively for sending the newsletter and will not be shared with third parties.
The legal basis for this processing is Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.
You can withdraw your consent for the newsletter subscription at any time, with effect for the future, in accordance with Article 7(3) GDPR. To do so, simply inform us of your withdrawal or use the unsubscribe link included in every newsletter.
Contact Inquiries / Contact Possibilities
If you contact us via contact form or email, the data you provide will be used to process your inquiry. Providing the data is necessary for handling and responding to your inquiry – without it, we cannot answer your inquiry or may only be able to do so in a limited manner.
The legal basis for this processing is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Your data will be deleted once your inquiry has been fully answered, unless there are legal retention obligations preventing deletion, such as in the case of subsequent contract execution.
User Contributions, Comments, and Reviews
We offer you the opportunity to publish questions, answers, opinions, or reviews on our website, hereinafter referred to as “contributions.” If you make use of this offer, we will process and publish your contribution, along with the date and time of submission and any pseudonym you may have used.

Additionally, we also process your IP address and email address. The IP address is processed because we have a legitimate interest in taking or supporting further action if your contribution infringes on the rights of third parties and/or is otherwise unlawful.
The legal basis in this case is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the possible necessity of legal defence.
Subscription to Contributions
If you publish contributions on our website, we also offer you the option to subscribe to follow-up contributions from third parties. To notify you of these follow-up contributions by email, we process your email address.

Usage- and user-related information, such as IP address, location, time, or frequency of visits to our website, is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, we use Google Analytics with the so-called anonymization feature. With this feature, Google truncates the IP address already within the EU or the EEA.
The data collected in this way is then used by Google to provide us with reports about the visits to our website and the associated user activities. Additionally, this data may be used to provide further services related to the use of our website and the internet.
Google states that it does not combine your IP address with other data. Further privacy-related information can be found at:
Google Privacy Policy for Partners
Google also offers a deactivation add-on at: Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on
This add-on can be installed on common internet browsers and provides you with further control over the data Google collects when visiting our website. The add-on tells the Google Analytics JavaScript (ga.js) that information about the visit to our website should not be sent to Google Analytics. However, this does not prevent information from being sent to us or to other web analytics services. If we use other web analytics services, you will also find details about them in this privacy policy.

If you are logged into your Google account while visiting a page on our website containing the plugin, Google will recognize the information collected by the plugin about your specific visit. The collected data may be associated with your personal Google user account. For example, if you use the “Share” button on Google, this information will be saved to your Google account and may be shared via the Google platform. If you do not want this, you must log out of Google before visiting our website or adjust the relevant settings in your Google account.
